Our Hake fillets have a firm white flesh that is an excellent & tasty alternative to white fish such as cod and haddock. Hake has a subtle and delicious flavour similar to and according to the many - superior to cod. The soft white flesh firms up on cooking, resulting in a dense meaty texture.

NB: Weight may vary according to the size of the fish caught on the day. Therefore the weight of your fish will be within + or - 10% of the ordered weights listed above. Were necessary an additional portion will be added.

FOR BEST RESULTS COOK FROM FROZEN
OVEN BAKE: 20 minutes at 200*c season with butter, salt & pepper.
GRILL OR PAN FRY: 10-15 minutes turning occasionally on a medium heat.
MICROWAVE( 800W): Cook on full power for 5 minutes
